In an effort to prevent child drowning incidents, the United Phoenix Fire Fighters Association began the Adopt-a-Pool-Fence program by providing families with one solution to protect their children - a donated pool fence.

If your home does not currently have a pool fence, you may be eligible to receive a donated pool fence through the Adopt-a-Pool-Fence Program. Families with young children in need of financial assistance are encouraged to apply. The program criteria are the following:

• A child 6 years or younger must be living in the home
• The home must be owner-occupied
• Families must demonstrate financial need
• Special circumstances will be considered
• Families must reside in Maricopa County
